General Knowledge

The toughest part of the Railways RRB and SSC CGL examination papers are the General Awareness/ General Knowledge sections,

General awareness is not something you can expect to master in a day. But from an exam point of view, if you spend time consistently, you can perform well in it in relatively less time as compared to Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning section. This section acquires more importance because this is the only section which can be attempted quickly i.e. in 06-09 minutes and at the same time, decent marks can be scored in this section if prepared well.

With the ever rising competition in the government exams, the section of GA seems like a boon for those who are well prepared and a bane for the ill-prepared students. So, we can say who are well prepared in this subject have better chances to crack SSC CGL Exams.
You all are advised to positively start brushing up the skills and get to know the facts regarding various sub-topics.
Although it might seem vast at first glance, you can still tackle the subsections with regular and timely efforts. The science and social sciences portion is something that generally always remain in this section. In addition, candidates must also keep themselves aware of the recent happenings in their surroundings for getting an updated view on the current affairs.
Effort has been made to divide the General Knowledge into topic wise lessons as follows and each lesson is followed by a Quiz to test your understanding. Some of the lessons also have useful video lectures.
