This is a compilation of Complete and Comprehensive History course specifically designed for various Competitive exams like SSC, Bank PO etc.

The course starts with ancient history as almost 25% questions come from that portion and continues to medieval history chapters like Delhi sultanate and the Mughal. The focus always remains on the data like contemporary architecture and writing as asked in various examinations.

As major number of questions come from the part of Indian history covering the Modern Era, the British  Raj and the Indian National Movement for Independence are dealt with in details. This course has been extensively and specifically researched and designed for competitive exams.

The text note for each chapter is supported with Video lecture in Hindi and is followed by a Quiz specific to the chapters. The learners are prompted at once if they make mistake in answering the questions. The Quiz can be repeated 5 times and once the learner is confident of the subject, the chapter can be marked "Complete" and one can move on to the next chapter.


    1. India was invaded by the Muslim rulers of Middle East repeatedly between 1000 AD and 1200 AD before the foundation of Delhi Sultanate was formed.
    1. The Indus Valley Civilization was an ancient civilization located in what is Pakistan and northwest India today, on the fertile flood plain of the Indus River and its vicinity. Evidence of religious practices in this area date back approximately to 5500 BCE
    2. Vedic Period

      The Vedic Civilization was the culture and traditions of the society prevalent during the Vedic age ( 1500- 600 BCE). In various examinations which have a section of general studies, often a question or two about the Vedic civilization is asked.
    3. During later Vedic period, the concepts related to nature of soul and cosmic principle, or the Atman and Brahman developed in form of six different schools of philosophies. these are known as ‘Shada Darshan‘.
    4. Religious Movements in India 600 B.C - 400 B.C

      In the sixth century BC, India witnessed the rise of two new religions – Jainism and Buddhism. The primary reason for the rise of these religions was the religious unrest at that time in the country. This unrest was attributed to the rituals and sacrifices advocated by the Later Vedic period which were not understood by a larger section of people.
    5. Magadh Empire

      The history of India is so vivid that it will be unfair to omit such small yet very important details about the developments that occurred before the establishment of the greatest empires in India, the Mauryan empire.
    6. Mauraya Dynasty

      It was one of the greatest empires recorded in India history. The rule of Mauryas lasted from 322 – 185 B.C. where majority of India was united as a single state by the great founder emperor Chandragupta Maurya. With the help of Kautilya or Chanakya, Chandragupta Maurya laid the foundation of this vast empire.
    7. Gupta Dynasty

    8. Harshvardhan, Rashtrakutas, Pallavas and Pals

      After the decline of Gupta Empire, there was disorder on political front in India. In the beginning of 7th century BC, Harshavardhan established a large kingdom in Northern India.
